Sadly, the Kindle version is far from valuable or even slightly useful.First, there is no way that the Kindle version can reflect the original hard-copy formats if the hard-copy versions are approximately 400 pages. I was 30% through this offering at the conclusion of the table of contents.As a result, the text is not thorough or even approaching a complete treatise on the subject.Next, there are graphical artifacts that distract in the text. These are likely carried over from an automated conversion of the original text from hard-copy to digital format.Also, likely from the result of an unedited or even unviewed automated conversion attempt, the text is flawed. Formatting is horrific, some text spellings are incorrect (in an obvious method that is also indicative of an automated conversion with no human involvement), and the flow is completely broken numerous times.The crux of the volume is apparently Chapter II, according to what I could perceive from the available Kindle version. However, the chapter is not only unconvincing, it is far too short to be the complete attempt as intended by the author.There might be a good version of this volume out there but, sadly, this Kindle attempt is not it.

One might consider it the definitive work. I'm not sure about his conclusions concerning the period of the Judges, but most of it is so well reasoned that it is difficult to not accept the findings totally.
