1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. What does literature mean to a dead wasp? By Gorlok I laughed. I cried. I farted. This book was an inpiration to me. After reading through a few pages I was hooked. All of the characters were so vividly portayed that it almost felt as if I knew them. I would give the book more stars, but the scale only goes up to 5. Perhaps 420 stars or 5150 stars would be more appropriate.In any event, this book is a must read. The author is witty and sentimental, yet not overbearing. Also, The style of writing is truly original and captivating. All in all, 14 Months and 2 Weeks Downtown reads like Beavis and Butthead meats Allen Ginsberg. Highly entertaining and unique.

A wild, touching passage through a haze of drugs, love and academia. In the vein of the beat writers, you will be sad to leave behind the epiphanies and evolution of this young man.
