About the Author El conde Lev Nikoláievich Tolstói, también conocido en español como León Tolstói nació en Yásnaia Poliana el 28 de agosto de 1828 y murió en Astápovo, en la actualidad Lev Tolstói, provincia de Lípetsk, el 7 de noviembre 1910. Fue un novelista ruso, considerado uno de los escritores más importantes de la literatura mundial. Sus dos obras más famosas, Guerra y Paz y Ana Karénina, están consideradas como la cúspide del realismo ruso, junto a obras de Fiódor Dostoyevski.

Pero esta versión que vende Amazon es un versión recortada e incompleta, casi la mitad de la novela que autorizó Tolstoi. No sé si es la misma versión que edita en papel la editorial Juventud que es la mitad de la novela completa. Fue un chasco para mí descubrirlo, pues ya la tenía en papel en la edición de Planeta con la traducción de Alcántara y Laín Entralgo e introducción de Eduardo Mendoza y al compararlas me di cuenta. Espero que Amazon ponga a la venta esta novela en la versión completa, preferiblemente en la traducción de Lydia Kuper. Pr eso mi valoración es por esta versión en concreto no a la novela en sí.

NI SIQUIERA SE TOMARON LA MOLESTIA DE ESCRIBIR BIEN EL NOMBRE DEL ESCRITOR. NO ENTIENDO COMO AMAZON ACEPTA ESTO!!
