When it says it is a paperback book I would expect more than 19 pages. I thought there would be many more projects (only 9), better instructions, and more illustrations. BE AWARE that you are paying 8.99 for essentially a pamphlet and not a very good one.

The instructions are clear enough but they come with the French Knitter so I was looking more for projects and inspiration.

As a child, I remember my sisters and I making long strings with yarn and a spool with nails. Not sure we ever did anything with them but we loved making those strings!When I saw Carol Porter demonstrating the tool and saw what she had created, I was really impressed. Carol brings this knowledge and creativity to her booklet. Her designs are beautiful, with a thoughtful use of materials and great results. I found the instructions to be clear and easy to follow and appreciated the large number of photos used to illustrate the techniques. I would love to see more designs and what others are doing with this tool.I think Making Jewelry With a French Knitter is a good value and the description clearly states what the book includes, I also think that many will want to see more!
