About the Author Author David Ring III was born in MA, in 1983. After an atypical upbringing that left him with a negative mindset, he began to seek freedom from his pessimistic thoughts. With very little interest in the corporate world, he left university in 2006, and began travelling the world. There was no reason to travel; it was just what people aspired to do. For David, he was living life and searching for happiness. From 2007-2010, he settled in central New Hampshire. After buying a large, beautiful Victorian house in Franklin, NH, the economy went into recession. He began his first business venture, turning this home into a family business, a bed and breakfast. After a few years of this slow and simple living, it was time for him to move on. Upon coming to Thailand in 2010, he begin writing his first novel, Bound Before the Morrow, hoping to portray his own personal journey out of negativity and to inspire others to do the same. During the five years it took to write, his views changed slightly, and spirituality entered the mix. The book still maintained the original message, but a new way of life had opened for David. David still bases himself in Thailand. He avoids the heat by escaping into air conditioned coffee shops and plunging himself into writing. In this way he gently and articulately shares his philosophical beliefs.

By Rebecca Lee I was provided this book in exchange for an honest review.It takes a very talented writer to properly explore the big ticket items and questions of life, without being heavy handed or too obvious about it. David Ring more than accomplishes this with "Bound Before the Morrow".There are elements of different genres woven throughout the book. What it is more than anything is a strong meditation on what we think will make us happy and how foolish we are thinking that source will be external events or things.Like any book that qualifies as real literature, this book changed me for the better in how I look at work, success, love and ultimate happiness. It did it in the context of a great story too.Bravo to this writer!
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Intriguing book By ksherman704 I really enjoyed reading this but I also found it to be quite bizarre. I found it to be dark, but thought-provoking. I've always felt I had a good, broad vocabulary, but this book contains so many words I've never come across before. I hope my Kindle doesn't have a limit on how many words I can look up over its lifetime since I used the dictionary feature many times while reading this book. So in addition to a good read, I also got an education. Thank you.
