Even though Darcy and Elizabeth still went through the ordeal of Hunsford, the meeting again at Pemberley, Wickham and Lydia's recovery and marriage, both loved the other deeply. Colonel Fitzwilliam worried about Darcy's health, travels to Longbourn to get Elizabeth, because in his fevered state called her name consistently. The colonel and doctor felt that if she was here at Pemberley, he'd recover faster. And so he did recover with Elizabeth at his side. Finally back at his former weight and strength returning rapidly, he and Elizabeth were married in Pemberley's Chapel. Even though it was for the most part a happy story, I was wishing for more. Just into the story and it's over.

A Sweet Story By Scrapper Very short so there is not much build up in anxiety or true suspense about the outcome of Darcy's illness, and I have read a similar story with Georgiana being the one who asks Elizabeth to come to Pemberley because her brother is very sick and might die. That story had more misunderstanding and struggles while this one is a short sweet read.I wish there would have been more to Elizabeth's tending to Darcy during his illness, but that part of the story was omitted.
