She can recognize herself and her friends in it and watch babies going through their day: going to the library, going for walks or to the grocery store with her parents, see when they get tired, and take a nap... but not for long! Babies wake up and get busy again! The illustrations are fantastic, and every child should be able to identify with them and find lots of stuff to explore as you turn the pages.The best thing about it is how adaptable the simple but strong cadence of the book is: our girl loves to play with the words and come up with new bits about playing outside or going to daycare, or just putting others' names into it.I definitely plan on getting a few of these for baby presents. I think it would be great for any family, but especially for parents who are having a second child, since I can see this being a great way to help a toddler brother or sister get a glimpse into a little baby's world.
