About the Author N. G. Osborne grew up in Angus, Scotland and graduated in 1995 from Oxford University with a B.A. in Politics, Philosophy & Economics. At the age of eighteen, Osborne spent twelve months as a volunteer for Project Trust working in a school and the Afghan refugee camps of Peshawar, Pakistan. This experience was the inspiration for his novel Refuge. Release is the third and final book in the trilogy.

By Judi exclusiverob Wilo Readers of this series were gripped by NICK OSBORNE’S powerful indictment of women's lives behind the veil. Mr. Osborne delivers a love story that shows just what humans will do, how far they will go, how insane their actions will become when their love is denied them- love held intolerably out of reach. What an extraordinary book, one that is unrelentingly graphic in its portrayal of the life, but beautiful in its depiction of the human spirit and the will to survive. It was a pleasure to see the characters develop and grow from the last two books. The will to live, sacrifice and determination of these daring souls draws you in, the suspense is gripping. I found the story of the way Charlie and Noor came to this situation to be all too real, but the real story here is their way of finding a way to survive mentally and emotionally.Nick Osborne books are a very accurate description of Saudi culture and the treatment of women, and it is very important when reading the book to realize that the injustices that are taking place in that country are based on years of tradition and not the Islamic religion. The women in Saudi Arabia are not "the most spineless creatures on earth", but are trapped in a society where no matter where they look they are alone and have no support, and understandably so prefer to live for their children.It's a heart-breaking story starting from book one that won't let you put it down until you read all three books to the end. I highly recommend this story to anyone looking for something different from the norm, but also really meaningful!Nick Osborne is a brilliant writer! I hope there will be more books from Nick! Bravo, Nick Osborne!

Miller As a fan of the first two books in the Refuge trilogy (Refuge and Resilience), I was highly anticipating reading the final chapter in the journey of Charlie and Noor.Release does not disappoint at all! The author continues his action packed writing style, and I could not put the book down. I was drawn, once again, into the intrigue as the characters are hunted by the CIA, Saudi intelligence, and Americans the Saudis have contracted to help find them. Unbeknownst to them, their every move is tracked, and the suspense is gripping. The descriptions of life in Pakistan are so real, you can almost feel what it is like to be borne along in the crowds.Bravo, Mr. Osborne! A fitting conclusion to the groundwork laid in the first two novels.

The perfect ending to an epic love story By EphieM As many other reviewers have said before me, this is an amazing trilogy and the last book provides the perfect ending to this epic love story between Charlie and Noor. Politics, terrorism and above all this a true love story with the odds stacked against it. I could not put it down. It moved me to tears a few times and the suspense near the end had me on the edge of my seat. I don't often write reviews but with this story I felt the need to shout it from the rooftops and spread the word. This book, this trilogy needs to be read. Thank you very much Mr Osborne for bringing Charlie and Noor to life and for giving us their story.
