Must Transform into Grand Movie By Ankit Saxena Well, I don't know from where to start..Jaclyn did a finest job with her debut writing (official, obviously). I must say this novel remarks the evolution of a Promising Writer to read in Future(must).The story is the combination love, thrill, mystery, horror and what not that one need to have in one literary work. To bring all the contents in one place is hard for anyone but Jaclyn had done a great job. I read some other reviews also and very much agree with Kearney's . I really enjoyed it to the fullest. It gives you the feel of sizzling coal that burns slowly to give warmth in cold. I feel happy that I read Warning's Wane. Ms. Little has bought every emotion in her work very smoothly.Story Starts with the arrival of Protagonists' (Paul & Colleen) on the Island of Praxia, the one that is not exist for rest of the world. Paul's uncertain paranoia because of the curious and sometimes terrifying residents, his initiative to uncover the island's secrets - most troubling of which is a deep-rooted connection that Colleen seems to have with the town, one that threatens to possess her entirely. Only God can give such natural seeming thought. "Touching is not allowed on Praxia Island", this the newest thought which makes the story more interesting. I never thought I like the book that much, A LOT. How one can live without touching their loved ones, their off-springs, their parents, even the one who is dying and needs care? The story goes slow & steady but with full matured mystery that bring enthusiasm and curiosity to read it in go. to make me stuck with it I tried to read slow and let the good time continue for big period.Reading this makes me more curious for what Jaclyn will bring next. I have to keep eye on You Ms. Little. There is always a space for improvement which makes you a big name. It comes with time. After reading it full you may'll Question yourself for if this a true story? This is the aura that Author has created of her work. She knows how to play with time, memory and space. creating a visual image of the scene like getting a letter to read through calligraphy makes her the master of language, the one knew what kind of language to use, and when & how to use.I am looking forward for this novel to transform very soon into a Big Movie. the one with lovers all over the world.However, I got this "Warning's Wane" as a part of giveaway contest, but I can say My reviews are not much into effect in front of what this work actually is? Hats-Off to you Jaclyn for this stunning Debut Novel. I wish we'll get more form you in coming Years.For me this deserves 5.0/5.0
0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Great screenplay By Nina K. I was given a free copy of this book in return for an honest review.This book is a journey for no faint-hearted readers. A dangerous spectrum of emotions takes you in completely. At times you are overwhelmed by despair and rage whereas later on you begin to empathize with the poor creatures, the remains of human beings, that are fearfully loyal to the ridiculous rules of the island.The story picks up in a fast pace and gradually slows down to a monotonous flow of the island's ways. The graphic details that place the book into real dimension make one think that nothing abides by the rules of logic on this forsaken island.The author has done an amazing job presenting the book from a man's perspective. Paul and Colleen undergo dramatic changes - they are no longer able to communicate. It makes one question the essence of an intimate relationship - can it withstand lack of physical closeness? At some point Paul realizes that he can no longer console his wife, a stranger, with words only. All interactions are depicted beautifully through glances, gestures and conversations.With Paul's paranoia escalating one begins to doubt credibility of all that is happening around him. The fact that there is no way off the island - however impossible that may sound - adds to the horror.The final stage of the book, enigmatic and puzzling to say the least, transforms into Apollinaire's calligrammes and takes a more poetic turn. Throughout the book we revisit the past with all its tragedies and happy mementos through dreams and such poetic excerpts. It is done masterfully and does not intrude into the story.It would be great to have that book made into a movie.

Through painstaking detail the author paints an incredibly vivid portrait of the bleak and hostile physical and emotional landscape of Praxia and its denizens, so much so that the Island itself becomes a living, breathing character in its own right.What starts off as a ludicrous premise turns into something so tangible and horrifying that I was haunted by the implications of such a grim existence long after I finished the book. The terror is is so subtly and masterfully constructed that I found myself mirroring the obsessive spiral of paranoia and fear that keeps our lead in perpetual, simmering turmoil, hoping for some sort of release every time I turned the page.There are lots of interesting ideas alluded to here, surrounding cultural mores, extremism and tyranny. Ultimately, it's our mortal phobias and the lengths to which humans will sometimes go to seek security that proves scarier than any corporeal monster.Warning's Wane is a mystery without the melodrama associated with so many thrillers. Instead, it's a well paced, quiet and at times quite mundane exploration into a couple's descent into madness, beautifully written and sinisterly staged. I can easily see this being a successful film in the right hands. Bravo!
