6 of 7 people found the following review helpful. Shavings - a heartwarming story By ta The story was well-developed, and the characters were wonderful. I had a hard time putting it down, once started. There were funny areas, tearful times, but overall, the book was well worth the read. I'd recommend it to others. The main character has so much to give, and gives to so many, that how he changed as the story progressed, was beautifully recognized. Great dialogue and hard to put down.
