You won't find this book overwhelming with information, instead you will find the necessary information to develop your journey of hospitality.
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Minndshift about hospitality in about an hour By Amazon Customer 4.5 stars. This book really changed the way I was framing hosting my friends. I tend to not be that worried about messy houses, so I get invited a lot of places, but feel weird about inviting people over because my space isn't perfect, and this little gem of a book switched the way I was framing things in the time it took to read the book. The whole thing felt like, "Oh, DUH" but I don't think I'd have ever gotten there without this little twist in how I was looking at it. Not surprisingly, the book itself is very welcoming. I'm not an introvert, but their section on how to enjoy entertaining as an introvert is really priceless and is going to help a lot of people.I gave it 4.5 stars instead of 5 because there are two authors and it wasn't always clear who was speaking, and that took me out of the book too much. But the content and writing is delightful so you should push through that to get to the content.

I'm an introvert, but my children crave a close knit community. Just this past month, I made a commitment to myself that I would host a dinner every month next year, but I had no idea how I was going to make it happen or how I would survive the exhaustion in the aftermath. What do I feed everyone? What do we talk about?Now that I have a whole list of things to do Right Now to prepare for my first dinner in January, but I'll practice my little things in two weeks at Thanksgiving. This Tiny Owl guide was a quick and easy read and gave me the confidence boost I needed to make this happen for my family.
